Most hyped up places are just that, A HYPE. Then there’s Peter Luger!
With ratings like “Peter Luger’s continues to rank # 1 in the civilized world.” and “If imitation is indeed flattery, then Peter Luger Steak House has cause to blush for the next 120 years.”, Peter Luger has never failed to impress me. Perfectly crusted, juicy and just enough pink in the middle (I always get mine medium rare), their steaks are always cooked to absolute perfection. I love the fact that they serve it in au jus, which adds so much flavor to everyBITE.
Don’t forget to make reservations. If you want to dine on a weekend, I highly recommend making reservations at least 2-3 weeks in advance. If you are trying your luck, doesn’t hurt to give them a call. I once got reservation 2 hours prior, granted it was a Wednesday and we had to have dinner at 5;45 pm 🙂
