Flaky, gooey, sweet…. best served warm, fresh outta the oven 🙂 Perfect semi-homemade treat! Enough said… check below for the recipe.
Earlier this year, I spent about 3 days in Paris. I made about 3-5 stops everyday to pick up a “snack” to make up for the short time I had. I made sure I ate all the baked goods, crepes possible and loved every bite. As usual I gravitated towards all the savory crepes, but
Soooo… it’s a random Thursday evening and I’m alerted that we are having guest over…. NOW! Before I could say who/what/when… I hear the buzzer going off. Urrrrgghh! Times like these, I always go semi-homemade. I also almost always go with pre-made puff pastry…. as my sister says “it is your knight in shining (egg-wash glistening) armor.”
Not much to say about this, except that it’s amazing. I’ve made this numerous times and it’s practically fool proof. Get cuffed this season…. here’s how: Go on your first date, rocking your most “casual” look. Go on the second/third date, make him laugh and get invited to game night at his friend’s. Show up with a container full of these piggies……. Enjoy cuffing season. You’re welcome 🙂
This was a pleasant accidental success. I was going for escargot chocolat-pistache, cuz I can’t get my recent trip to Paris out of my head, but totally messed it up. The dough wasn’t moist, I used the wrong type of dough. But it made for some delicious crispy treats 🙂
Super bowl can be a scary, stressful event. If the need for constant flow of food wasn’t stressful enough, I hate the way I feel after eating bowls of chips, cheese balls….. and other random processed food. Fear not, I have a solution…. hummus! You can make this a few days ahead and it’s super healthy.
